Flower Pot Cards

After seeing this card HERE I decided to try making one of these cute cards. Since I didn't have the Sizzix Die she used, I decided to use my new Stampin' Up Simple Flower Embosslits Die. These dies are great since they cut and emboss at the same time. I don't remember for sure what papers I used as I just pulled them out of my scrap basket. The leaves were made from my new SU Little Leaves die. I also used my scallop border punch on the flower pot.

When my friend Terri came over to make cards, we went to a LSS to get some paper for some projects we were doing. Terri was decorating her classroom at church and needed some big hands cut out. So she bought some cardstock and we used my Cricut Expressions to cut them out. We had some pretty big scraps left, and since I can't stand to waste scraps - even if it was Non Stampin' Up Paper - we used her Sizzix flower die and cut out a bunch of these flowers. There were two different size flowers on her die, I will show you the cards I made with the big flower tomorrow. We used the SU Five Petal Punch to make the leaves for these cards. The flower pot is made from Close to Cocoa paper. Some of the flowers were a pretty close match to Tempting Turquois so I used Tempting Turquois ribbon around the flower pot.

Thanks for looking,
Kim
