January Stamp Club 2011 Projects

Here are two of the project that we made at Stamp Club this evening.  I've already shown you a couple of the Treat Box Cards I have created.  They really are quick and easy to make once you have your first one under your belt.

And before someone points this out to me, I do know that the paper I used is retired.  But I have been trying to use up some of my stash and I didn't have any other Valentine paper, besides it is available on the Clearance Rack and so it was a great way to remind my club ladies to check it out periodically.

Do you see the candy and candles in the box?  Add a gift card in the pocket and this would make a great gift.

The card really is so much prettier in real life, but it's fuzzy in this picture.  It's been gray and gloomy here for days, so I haven't had a chance to get some better pictures.

I will post the third project later.

Thanks for looking,

Kim

January 2008 Stamp Club

We kicked off the new stamp club on the 17th. All the ladies participating have all been in my previous clubs. Each month the ladies have a "homework assignment". This means they have to make a card for the next's month meeting following specific instructions or guidelines. If they do their homework, their names goes in a jar and at the end of the six months I draw a name and the winner gets a free stamp set.

This year, I had everyone bring a card to the first meeting and I told them we would start the club with a drawing for a free stamp set. This time though, everyone got to go home with a new stamp set. So their homework for next month is to make a card using their new set.

Here is a picture of the projects we did. We only used one stamp set to make all the projects. I wanted them to see how versatile this stamp set could be.

This year I am going to concentrate more on different products and techniques, rather than stamp sets. At last count, I was over 180 sets and even though I have a "stamping room", it's starting to get a little crowded in here.

Year After Year II

Here is the second card in the Year after Year stamp set using the heart stamp. I used it as a thank you card, but would be good for Valentine Day also.

RECIPE:

Cardstock - Almost amethyst, Elegant eggplant, whisper white and Designer series paper

Ink - Almost amethyst, Elegant eggplant,

Accessories - Three for You Punch, white gel pen, ribbon

This is a very fast and simple card.
