Coffee and Friends...the Perfect Blend
Just a quick post tonight. I don't like coffee, but I really like this stamp set. It makes for some quick and easy cards.
I spent this afternoon working on projects for Stamp Club this month. I have one opening left in my Tuesday club. If you are interested in joining or would like more info, just send me an email. And I also have one spot left for my Cabin Retreat which will be held October 4-5 this year.
Thanks for looking,

New Domain Name
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I have a new domain name. Now to get to my blog, all you have to type is kimscardcreations.com. Same blog, just a new name.
I also want to share a project with you today (although it's not a card). This is a drawstring book bag that I made for a fundraising auction. My friend Terri is the director of her church puppet team - Heavenly Hands Puppets - and they are raising money this Saturday evening for her team to go on a mission trip next summer. They also do a lot of ministering right here in this community. So if you can, come and support them this Saturday. A meal is served at 5:00 for a free will offering with the auction following

Updated Specials and My Very Own Convention Shirt
I have updated the Stampin' Up Specials page of my blog, so just click on the link above to find all the details to the many specials Stampin' Up is offering this month.
This month Stampin' Up is offering a Buy Three Get One Free Special with their Designer Series Paper (some exclusions do apply). They also have special pricing on their new My Paper Pumpkin program.
And if you have been thinking about joining Stampin' Up, they have a special for you too. All the details are on the Stampin' Up Specials page.
Yesterday was the start of Stampin' Up's Annual Convention, and I had decided not to go this year even though it was their 25th Anniversary because I really just don't like crowds. And they were expecting close to 6000 demonstrators. As usual, after seeing updates on convention, I always start wishing I had gone. So instead of just sitting here and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to make me my very own convention shirt. These shirts are normally only available to those who attend convention, and if they do have extras to sell after convention, the shirts sell out fast and are a little pricey. So I just made my own. What do you think?
It's not exactly the same as Stampin' Up's convention shirt. I change the color of the wording to Melon Mambo and you can't see it but the Stampin' Up logo is on the sleeve. I also left off the word convention since I didn't actually go. I can't wait to show it to my downline Thursday at our monthly downline meeting.
Now I need to go open my big box of goodies that I preordered from the Holiday Catalog.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kim

Cutest Baby Ever!
Well I finally got to play with some of my new Stampin' Up products today.
This Onsie Card has been on my "list of cards to make" for some time now. I thought the new 2013-2014 In-color Coastal Cabana would make a cute baby card. The other new Stampin' Up products I used on this card is the new stamp set Love Label and the coordinating punch Artisan Label.
Since I couldn't find a template for this card - well one I didn't have to pay for anyway - I decided to make my own. So if you would like the pattern just let me know.
If you have not received a new Stampin' Up catalog yet, contact me and I would be happy to get one to you.
Thanks for looking,
Kim

May 2013 Stamp Club Projects
Ok I think I have all the advertising out of the way now. I haven't posted in over 3 months - I think that's a new record for me - so I had some blog housekeeping to do. The last 2 posts covered the specials that we have going on at Stampin' Up, not to mention that the NEW CATALOG IS NOW LIVE! If you look over to the right, you will see a link for the new 2013-2014 catalog, PLUS a link to the Supply Sheet for the projects shown in the catalog.
As you look through the new catalog you will notice that there are not any holiday sets - not to worry. Those will be showing up August 1st in the Holiday Not-So-Mini Mini catalog.
I hope you all like the new catalog, if you have any questions about the catalog or the products just let me know. I have an order coming in tomorrow, and I should have another by the end of the week of all new product.
But for now, I'm going to share with you the projects we did at our last stamp club. I had quite a bit of product from the Occasions Mini that I hadn't used yet, so I focused on that this month.
On this notepad I used some retiring Designer Series Paper and the alphabet set - Lovely Letters. This set is great for monograms.
I had to use the set "Oh Whale" at least once in class. I had used it to make some awesome Valentine Cards, but wanted to use it with my Stamp Clubs so they could see what a versatile set it was.
And last but not least, the spinner card. I used the pinwheel die and the Cloudy Day embossing folder on this card. I love both of these products and hope they show up on a carry over list since they are not in the new catalog.
Well that's it for now, hopefully it won't be another 3 months before I post.
Thanks for looking,
Kim

Cardstock Shadow Box
Stampin' Up has been offering a lot of promotions and new programs lately, with more to come. If you have been at my Stamp Clubs then I have kept you informed of these promotions. If you haven't, then I'm going to feature a different promotion or program this week on my blog.
BUT FIRST, a project! If you are like me you hate going to a blog only to find a bunch of advertising of the lastest specials, and no projects. Now I believe you need to be informed of promotions, but I'm sure you would also like to see a project. So without further ado, here's a project for you (and if you would like to hear about a special Stampin' Up is offering, then keep scrolling down).
I wish I was better at taking pictures, because this is a really cool project. The shadow box itself is made from cardstock. By making your own shadow box, you can divide the shadow box anyway you would like. How fun is that?
This project is full of new product from the Stampin' Up Spring Catalog and FREE PRODUCT that I have earned from Sale-a-Bration. I've used the All Dressed Up framelits, the Bitty Butterfly punch, the Pop Up Posies Designer Kit, Flower Trim, Tea for Two Designer Series Paper and the Small Scallop die. Then from Sale-a-bration, I used the Ribbon and Button Pack, and the stamp from Vintage Verses. That's a lot of stuff!
Now on to our promotion information. The first one I'm going to talk about is the Single Stamp program. The original program ended the first of January, but the program was so well received that Stampin' Up has released 10 Never Seen Before Single Stamps.
To view the stamps click on the links below:
Single Stamps: Assortment 3
Single Stamps: Assortment 4
Here are the Details:
I know this was a long post and the next few will probably be also as I try to catch up on posting (in case you hadn't noticed, I haven't posted in a couple of months), but I promise they will be back to short and sweet in just a few days.
And if you have read all the way down to here, thanks for hanging in there.
And as always, thanks for looking,
Kim

Cards For My New Recruits
I've been blessed in the last month to receive two new recruits - one in my first level and one in my second level. How exciting is that. So I thought I would share the cards I have made for them.
I was practicing my watercoloring with Stampin' Up markers and blender pens a while back and here are a couple of the flowers I created. I decided to go ahead and make them into cards for the new recruits. I hope they like them.
I've used a lot of fun products from the new Stampin' Up Spring Catalog including the Secret Garden Stamp set and matching framelits and the new Oval Framelits. If you haven't placed your order from the Spring Catalog, what are you waiting for? You can click on the order button on the left hand side of the page and order directly from my online store or if you need some help, just give me a call or send me an email, I would be happy to help you out.
Thanks for looking,
Kim
