You don't see it in the picture, but I later went back and added a Chocolate Chip Rub-on "celebrate" from the Sale-a-brations set under the ribbon as I decided to use this card as an aniversary card.

Graduation Gift
I used Stampin Up Designer paper "Flowers for You", Certainly Celery and Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and the same inks. I used several different stamp sets to make the cards and since I made this over a month ago I don't remember which ones I used. The book was bound together with my Bind-it-All machine.
I've seen several tutorials for this same project, but for me the easiest one to follow was this one - http://www.barbstamps.com/my_weblog/2008/05/tutorial-mini-p.html.

From the Garden
These are a couple of real simple monochromatic cards that I cased from the catalog(page 21).
I stamped the flower in Groovy Guava ink on Whisper White cardstock. I added a strip of Groovy Guava cardstock that I ran through my cuttlebug to the bottom. I ran a piece of Groovy Guava ribbon above that then embellised one card with a bow and the other with a flower. As I said, very simple. Thanks for looking.

Back From Vacation
I'm going to post some cards I made before we left for vacation. This first one is made from a retired Stampin Up set called Symbols of Salvation. I made this card for a man in our church who was recently saved and baptized.
I embossed the cross with gold embossing powder then colored it in with a Chocolate Chip marker. The verse says "My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation", a perfect verse for the occasion. This man was an old friend of my husband, so it really meant a lot for him to be the one to baptize him.
RECIPE:
Paper - Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Ink - Chocolate Chip
Accessories - Paper piercing kit, gold brads

June Stamp Club Cards
This first card was made using a new stamp set "Fresh Cuts" that will be in the new Fall Catalog available August 11. But during the month of June only, you can order this set and the cost is $21.95. If you order this set, you can purchase the new die cut 4x4 cards for $5.00, otherwise the cards are $8.95 and you get 15 cards and envelopes.
This next card uses the stamp set Bloomin Beautiful that is in the mini catalog. Remember you can order from the mini through the month of June (even thought the catalog says May 31).
I stamped the image in versamark ink, then colored the image with Stampin Up chalks. The cardbase is Cameo Coral (my favorite color this month) and I layered the image with Cameo Coral and Chocolate Chip cardstock. I used the distressor tool to give it the rough edges. The paper on the side is a piece of Designer paper from Berry Bliss. I tied a piece of Chocolate Chip ribbon around the card.
This last card is similar to the one we made last month. I stamped the background stamp Print Pattern in Green Galore ink on Green Galore cardstock. I added the white dots with the gel pen (last month we used the paint pen and made lines). The flower image was done by coloring the stamp itself with Pixie Pink & Green Galore crayons and then spraying the stamp lightly with water and stamping on Water Color paper. I used the Word Window punch with Pixie Pink Cardstock and attached that to the cardbase and added a black brad. The cool thing on this card (I think it's cool anyway) is the beads that I attached with a staple. I will just have to show you this Terri. Anyway that is pretty much that.
I did make a Stationary in a Box as a hostess gift for Debbie. IF I have time I will post a picture of it tomorrow. I have to get my hair done at 8:00am and Gracie (my poodle)has to get her hair done at 12:30, we both have to look good for vacation you know. And I still have to clean house yet.
