One More Card From the Retreat
So here is another project that I made at our retreat. I still have several more to share.
I really like the doily die cut in the background. It takes a while to poke out all those little pieces, but I think it's worth it.

Retreat Projects
Here is another card that I made at the retreat. I'm not normally a big cow fan, but this one was just too cute. I don't remember who I cased this from but thank you to whoever shared this great idea.
The fence I have seen on lots of different cards and it was super easy to make. Using the Simply Scored tool that Stampin' Up offers, just make score lines every 3/8", then go back with your Scalloped border punch at the top.

Please don't have a stroke...
Because I'm trying another post, I know, that's two in one day. But after looking at the first post with my IPad, I thought the picture was a little small. So I'm going to show you another project that I made at the cabin, and this time I'm adjusting my settings.
Isn't she cute? I saw this card on Dawn Griffiths blog I believe. The inside says "I hope you feel better beary soon". I had to add the little bow to my bear, otherwise she is pretty much a complete case from Dawn.
Thanks for looking,
Kim

What a Horrible Blogger I am...
I'm not even going to apologize this time. We just have to face the facts - I stink at blogging. Now that we have accepted that, we can move on.
I have been working on getting my IPad updated and the apps I need to blog from my IPad. I don't know if this will help or not, I make no promises.
I have made a lot of projects since the last time I have posted, that's not the problem. Getting them onto my blog is the problem.
Anyway, last weekend we had the first Stamping Retreat at our cabin. It was a lot of fun. I had 8 ladies attend besides myself and we spent Friday and Saturday stamping, and eating of course.
Friday everyone brought a dish to share and then on Saturday Kathy Maulding fixed us an awesome lunch. We had tons of great food.
Each lady attending received the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set along with a sample of the coordinating Designer Series Paper and brads, along with some other goodies. We also had door prizes and each person got to pick an item from the "gift basket".
I had also taken to the cabin my inks, punches, dies, and a bunch of current and retired stamp sets for the ladies to use. I think everyone had a good time, it was definitely a good weekend to stamp - it rained all weekend.
While I didn't get a ton of projects made, I did make some that had been on my "to do" list for a while. This project is a pop up card. I know, it's been around for ever, but I just never got around to making one. It really is quite easy to do. I used the Build-a-bear set which will be retiring soon. If you would like for me to show you how to make one (and maybe some of your friends too), just give me a holler and we can set up a time for a workshop.
Thanks for looking,
Kim
ps - this is my first post from my IPad, what do you think?
