Cutest Baby Ever!

Well I finally got to play with some of my new Stampin' Up products today.

This Onsie Card has been on my "list of cards to make" for some time now. I thought the new 2013-2014 In-color Coastal Cabana would make a cute baby card. The other new Stampin' Up products I used on this card is the new stamp set Love Label and the coordinating punch Artisan Label.

Since I couldn't find a template for this card - well one I didn't have to pay for anyway - I decided to make my own.  So if you would like the pattern just let me know.

If you have not received a new Stampin' Up catalog yet, contact me and I would be happy to get one to you.

Thanks for looking,
Kim

Baby Card

Here is a card that I made for a young lady at church who just had her first baby - a boy of course.

I used several retired Stampin' Up sets on this card. First, the baby image came from the set - Baby's Firsts, the sentiment came from the set - Welcome Little One, and the word "baby" came from a sale-a-bration set called Note Worthy. This is why I don't like getting rid of retired sets, they always come in handy at some point in time.

I used bashful blue paper, ink and ribbon. I also tried out a set of Nestabilities that I had gotten for Christmas.

Thanks for looking,
Kim

Baby Notebook

Here is a mini baby notebook that my daughter and I made for a lady at her church who is having a baby shower. Everyone is supposed to write in it and give the mother to be tips on raising girls.

I used my bind-it-all machine to put it together. The paper is retired stampin up designer paper. I used the sale-a-bration set So Many Scallops and the scallop punch. I also used my cuttlebug to cut out "baby". Add some white taffeta ribbon from stampin up' and a little dazzling diamonds on the moon and you're done.

February Stamp Club Projects

Here are the cards we are making tonight at our monthly Stamp Club meeting. I just finished typing up the instructions. If anyone is interested in receiving the instructions, they are in a word document with pictures of the cards included, just send me an email.

I normally do a 3-D item, but I simply forgot. So next month I will make up for that. Now I need to go get my house cleaned up, at least the downstairs.

New Cards From Some Old Paper

Not only do I have a problem throwing anything away. I also like to hoard things. I'm trying to get over some of these bad habits. These cards are made with the new Sale-a-brations set So Many Scallops but I used some really old paper. This paper was the first package of paper I ever bought from Stampin Up and sadly, I still have most of it.

So I will try to do a better job of using my paper, especially now since they are bringing out new designer papers in every catalog and mini.

Baby Card & Watercoloring

I needed a baby card for my cousin who just had her 4th child. After 3 girls she had a little boy and named him Tommy Charles - Congratulations Jennifer.

The picture is kind of blurry, sorry! The card is a 3 x 6. I used the retired stamp set Welcome Little One. I stamped the image in Brown Stazon and watercolored it with my WWC from Stampin' Up. I bought the set of crayons last year when you could still buy the four color families in one set. I finally used my Watercolor paper too. It really does make a big difference in the look of it compared to using regular cardstock. I still need a lot of practice watercoloring though.
