New Clear Mount Option

Many people have been asking for an unmounted option for their Stampin' Up stamps. And Stampin' Up has listened. You are still getting the same quality rubber stamp, but now you can order them with wood blocks or unmounted.

Here are some of the features:

■Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.
■Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.
■Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
■Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.
■Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.
■Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.
■Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.

This new option will be available starting January 5th in the new Occasions Mini. This is just one of the many great new products available in the mini.

Christmas Cards - finally

I finally got around today to making my Christmas cards. I had to keep them really simple. I cased these cards from HERE. The only thing I did differently was to add Dazzling Diamonds.

Now I just need to take them to the post office, finish wrapping gifts, go grocery shopping, start baking for Christmas.......and the list goes on.

Thanks for looking,

Blog still wonky...

Ok, I thought I had fixed my new blog design. But after viewing it on my new laptop - yep, you heard me right, a new laptop - I realized it is still not quite right.

I probably won't have time to fix it any time soon, I have Christmas shopping to do tomorrow, then Saturday we are having practice for our Christmas program which is Sunday followed by our Christmas lunch at church.

Back to the new laptop, that was quite an ordeal. I picked up my new laptop - a Sony Vaio - from Best Buy Tuesday evening. After getting it home, I wasn't able to connect to the internet. So after not getting any help from the store, I called Sony tech support. BIG MISTAKE! I spent two hours on the phone Tuesday night and another 1.5 hours on the phone Wednesday morning trying to get if fixed. By the time tech support was done, they had made things a lot worse. It was even to the point that my husband couldn't get on the internet with his laptop, which he hadn't had any trouble with before.

So after calling Best Buy back, they decided to just give me another new computer and a new router. Steve went and picked it up for me today, but since I had wasted so much time with it Tuesday night and Wednesday, I decided that I would not get on the computer until I had all my Christmas wrapping done.

So 8 hours later ( I did fix supper between wrapping packages) here I am. I installed my new router and was able to get on the internet with my new computer with no problems so far. So hopefully my new laptop will help me be better organized and help me do a better job of blogging.

New Blog Design

So what do you think of my new blog design? I know it needs some tweaking. This was my first attempt to design my own blog and I used the My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up. It is pretty user friendly. It comes with stamps, embellishments, Designer Series papers, punches.... just a ton of fun stuff. I like it because a lot of the stamp sets that came with the software were stamps I didn't already have.

I haven't got to use MDS as much as I would like, I have been busy with company, Thanksgiving, a couple of craft shows and now I need to get crackin' on Christmas. I still have shopping to do, all the wrapping yet to do, and I still have my Christmas cards to make and get sent out. So hopefully after the holidays I will have some more time to play.

This really is a cool program and for those of you who like to scrapbook, you can complete an album literally in minutes. They have some great scrapbooks already designed that you just have to add your pictures too. So shoot me an email or visit my website if you are interested in purchasing this program.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim

Snowman and Snowwoman Bags

These cute little snowmen(women) were made with the Topnote Die. These bags would make great little treat bags or even gift card holders.

Simple Picture Frames

This picture was made with a frame that I bought on clearance. I bought a whole box of them thinking they were black frames, turned out they were more of a navy blue frame.
The background paper is the Stampin' Up Bride Specialty Paper. I used my printer for the small words and Jesus was cut out using a die cut machine. I photographed this several times, but just couldn't get rid of the glare.

OK last one for today....I think

I am really on a roll. Here is a card I just made a few minutes ago for the Limited Supply challenge on Splitcoast. The guidelines were to make an all white card. You could use one color of ink, but the paper and embellishments had to be either white or clear.

I think my card meets all the requirements but it is very difficult to photograph an all white card, especially with my photography skills. This really is a very pretty and sparkly card in real life. Iused all Stampin' Up products. The paper is shimmer white, the ink is the Platinum paint from the mini. I also used the petals-a-plenty embossing folder and dazzling diamonds glitter. The Poinsetta was made using punches.

Again, thanks for looking,

Kim

Simple Picture Frame with Matching Card

Here is Christmas picture frame that I made. This was a white wooden frame that I covered with retired Stampin' Up paper. The Christmas tree was made with all Stampin' Up products and the snowman was made with a die cut machine.

I also made a matching card. I thought this would be a cute gift idea, you could put your child's picture in it and give it to a grandparent.

ps - can you believe two posts in one day? And I already have a post scheduled for tomorrow.

We are just going to have to accept the fact...

that I am a terrible blogger. It's not even that I don't have anything to show you. I have a ton of stuff that I haven't posted yet. I'm not sure what my problem is, part of it may be that I dislike taking pictures. I'm just not very good at it, even though I try to follow some of the photography tips I have found online.

I guess the best thing for you to do is to sign up for my email updates, then you will know when I post something.
Anyway, here is one of my lastest projects. I saw these on Becky Roberts blog and thought they were really cute. Just sort of a new twist on the Peppermint Patty projects. The bag is a pretzel bag, and I found these in the cake decorating section of a "big box store".

Kim
