Well It’s Been A While

Over 8 years since I posted last. I was never any good at posting on a regular basis, but 8 years, well I sincerely doubt anyone is still checking my blog to see if I have posted anything new, lol, so this post is really just for me. When last I was blogging, they were just getting to where you could make a blog post on your iPad. I’m sitting here now doing this post on my phone. So much has changed in the last eight years. First of all, I’m no longer a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I gave that up in the fall of 2022 when I found out I had cancer.

I do still love to craft but have branched out into so many more things. I do a lot of laser projects now along with sublimation and white toner printer, and 3d printer projects. I have a 2 story she shed that I do most of my crafting in now, although I still have a stamp room in the house. I haven’t done much stamping in the last several years but I do miss it and hope to dust off my supplies soon and get back to cardmaking. One of my latest items I created was this Crochet cabinet and yarn spinner for my friend Kathy.  This was done on my 3d printer.

Just for the fun of it....

For the first time in a very long time, I stamped just for the fun of it today.  Here is one of the seven cards I made today.  Love the Timeless Texture Stampin' Up set.  It's a very versatile set.  I also tried a new color combo today - Perfect Plum, Blushing Bride with just a tad bit of Crumb Cake.  And the Blushing Bride Glitter Paper is awesome.  Very pretty and sparkly in real life.

I know it has been a very, very long time since I posted, so if anyone is still out there -

Thanks for looking,
Kim

Let's Try This Again...

I've considered just deleting my blog because as you can tell I'm not very good at blogging consistently, but I decided to give it one more try. Besides GoDaddy already automatically renewed my domain name so I thought I might as well.

So here is one of my latest card creations. I love the Holiday Catalog and I used two of my favorite sets on this card.

Another reason I haven't posted here for a long time is because I usually post on my Facebook page instead. I've been really busy making personalized and custom order shirts lately, and I thought I would share one of those with you also.

I made this one to wear to the Unite and Excite event in Terre Haute. I can't wait, maybe I will meet some of you there.

Thanks for stopping by my very neglected blog,

FEBRUARY STAMPIN' UP PUNCH ART CLASS

Here are the cards that we made at my first Stampin' Up Punch Art Class. In addition to these cards, each person made a 6x6 Instruction Sheet for each punch art.

Even if you missed the first class, it's not too late to participate in this fun class. I will be offering this Punch Art Class the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm and again at 6:00pm. The cost of the class will be $15, the class fee will be waived with a $40 order. You can also get your class ½ off just by bringing a friend. Yep, anytime you bring a friend of yours that has not attended one of my stamping events (or at least not in the last year, my memory doesn’t go back much further than that), you get your class fee for $7.50.

If you plan to attend, just let me know by Sunday, March 9th.

Kim

SCALLOP TAG TOPPER CLASS

This is my latest class on the schedule.  We will be making the three projects shown, plus two more projects for a total of 5 projects and the class fee includes the Scallop Tag Topper punch.  All this for $32.  The cost of the punch itself is $27.08 with tax and shipping. So you are getting the class for just under $5!  That’s a deal.

The class will be held at my house and you have two opportunities to take the class.  I will be offering a session on Thursday, February 27 at 6:30 and a second session on Saturday, March 1 at 1:30.

If you would like to attend you MUST let me know by February 18th as I will need to order the punches and I need to allow time for them to get here.  There are no cancellations for this class after I order the punches.  If you can’t attend,  you will still receive the punch and a packet of materials to complete the projects (written instructions are not included in this class), or you can find someone to take your spot.

Don’t forget YOU MUST REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 18TH TO ATTEND THIS CLASS.

And just a reminder, we have completed our first session of my new Punch Art Class.  The next class will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 1:30pm and again at 6:00pm.  If you would like to attend please let me know and which session you would like.  I will be posting the cards we made on my blog later so be sure and check those out. I won’t be posting instructions for the punch art or sharing the instruction sheets as those are for the class attendees alone.

I hope to see you at one of my upcoming events,

Kim Jenkins

So what does the class include?  First, you will get a free 6x6 scrapbook (while supplies last).  If you register and pay for the first  class by February 8, I will personalize your scrapbook for free.  At each session we will make 2-3 punch art instruction pages and a completed project. These projects will include not only cards, but scrapbook pages and  3-D projects. In the class we will be using current and retired punches and dies.  You will need to bring a snail adhesive to class, all other adhesive will be provided.

So remember to get your free personalized scrapbook, register and send payment by February 8.  Be sure to let me know which session you wish to attend.

Hope to see you at class,

Flower Box in a Card

WOW! It's been a long time. I knew it had been a while, but didn't realize I hadn't posted since October. Well here's to doing better this year. Now on to the card, or should I say box? It's both! How cool is this project. If folds down flat like a card, so you can easily mail it in an envelope. Then you open it up and it turns into a box that you can display. Pretty neat, huh? I thought so.

Please excuse the finger in the picture.

Love this project, and will definitely be making more. Maybe I will even post a picture of them, lol.

Thanks for looking,
Kim
